New Energy Vehicle Braking Energy Recovery System Training Platform
I. Product Overview:
The braking energy recovered by an electric vehicle is converted into electrical energy stored in a battery. This energy storage method has drawbacks such as low power density, low charging and discharging frequency, and the inability to rapidly convert the large amount of absorbed energy. However, vehicles need to quickly obtain or release large amounts of energy during braking or starting, which greatly limits the application of energy storage batteries.
The current generated during electric vehicle braking can easily reach high values, in the range of several hundred amps. This is much larger than the charging current that the battery can absorb, which can damage the battery and significantly reduce its expected lifespan.
Furthermore, when the battery approaches its maximum charge, the electrical energy generated during electric braking can overcharge the battery. This causes the voltage on the battery electrodes to be approximately equal to the voltage delivered by the charging circuit. In other words, it limits or inhibits the current circulation in the battery, greatly reducing or even eliminating the electric braking effect.
II. Training Project:
1. Install a caster-mounted movable vehicle drive axle assembly.
2. Vehicle hydraulic braking system, including brake pedal, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, parking brake mechanism, brake sensor or brake switch.
3. Electric motor-driven vehicle instruments, indicating the relationship between battery charge and regenerative braking.
4. Vehicle throttle mechanism, foot-operated adjustment mechanism, for adjusting the drive motor speed.
5. Pure electric vehicle battery pack: Lithium iron ion pure electric battery pack (100Ah/52.0V).
6. Pure electric vehicle motor controller: ALPHA electric vehicle motor controller.
7. Car seat: Manually adjustable car seat, convenient for personnel to operate the training system.
