Product Overview:

The DCL-R series DC loads feature built-in alloy resistance wire material, operate using an energy-consuming method, and are cooled by forced airflow. The small axial fan provides high airflow, excellent heat dissipation, and low noise. Applications include testing the output power and load capacity of automotive power supplies, battery charging and discharging, DC welding machines, DC power supplies, UPS equipment, switching power supplies, and other communication DC equipment.

Features:

1. Control Method: Button control or switch switching. Made with stainless steel alloy resistors, the test process avoids thermal drift of impedance values ​​due to the heating of resistive load components. Users can set and adjust the discharge power, discharge time, and timer to automatically shut off the load according to performance parameters and testing requirements. It tests the working efficiency, full-load operation, full-scale output power, and load capacity of various power generation and discharging equipment.

2. Simulates various complex working environments, including sudden power increases and decreases, to test the actual load capacity and efficiency of discharging equipment. Features emergency stop and temperature protection, automatic disconnection in case of overload, short circuit, or overheating. It features over-temperature protection, temperature setting (0~100°C), and temperature monitoring.

3. Alloy Resistance Wire Material Introduction: The alloy resistance wire material is selected from NiCr6023 silver-chromium alloy (operating temperature not exceeding 1300°C), which has a low electrical and temperature drift coefficient (5*10-5/°C). The materials of each component of the power dissipation resistor are strictly regulated. The tube body uses 321 stainless steel (1Cr18Ni9Ti) with high ductility and oxidation resistance.

The filler material is export-grade electrical crystalline oxide (Sg-9), conforming to standard JBY-TE4088-199. During manufacturing, the magnesium oxide density is maintained at 3.0 g/cm³ ± 2. The wiring screws and fixing screw posts are made of 304 stainless steel (0Cr18Ni9).

Through strict and clear material control of 3.0 g/cm³ ± 2, the alloy resistors produced in batches can be guaranteed to have highly consistent performance.

The heat sink is made of 321 stainless steel with a height of 7mm ± 2mm and a thickness of 0.4mm ± 2mm. The winding spacing of the heat sink is less than or equal to 3mm ± 2mm.

A single power resistor has a withstand voltage of DC 3000V or AC 1500V at 50Hz for 1 minute without breakdown. By connecting multiple alloy resistors in series, a withstand voltage of 40kV can be guaranteed.

Under normal operating conditions, the average temperature of the heat sink is ≤300℃ and does not exceed 320℃, providing a margin of nearly 5 times from the maximum resistor temperature of 1300℃. This ensures that the alloy resistor can operate continuously for extended periods.

When the power resistor reaches 300°C–400°C, the temperature drift remains ≤±2%, ensuring that the load resistance does not fluctuate significantly under high temperatures and that a stable power value can be applied regardless of the temperature.

The load error is ≤±3% under both cold and hot conditions.
